Pressero Language Localization

Can the Pressero client-side storefront user interface use a language for the text and buttons other than English?
Yes. Both Pressero and eDocBuilder support many language localizations besides the English default. eDocBuilder shares the same localized language options as Pressero. See list below.

Pressero
Pressero will use the language you have set the store to use in the Pressero admin's Site > Settings > General Info tab > Culture drop down list. Of course, your customer's web browser controls the language of standard button text.

If you set the store to say, German, the store will use German. Note that setting the Culture to German will also affect the weight (metric) used for determining shipping rates* and the currency (Euro's) used in the store. *A Pressero pricing engine computes a weight as a pure number. That pure number has the weight unit (in this example kg) applied to it only when computing shipping via an external service like UPS/USPS/FedEx/Carreios/etc. A Pressero store set to use kg (because the Culture setting is German) never converts between lbs and kg weight units, it's always one or the other.

eDocBuilder
If eDocBuilder is being used without Pressero, let our support staff know what language you want the templates to use and they will make the change.

Languages (and Weights and Currencies) Supported
All countries except the US will use kg for the shipping Weight unit. Contact Aleyant Support if your language is not in the list. The list is subject to change over time.
