Question: Is there a way to find the list of estimates that is not yet converted into a Job and is no longer valid ?
Answer: Whenever an estimate is created, the list will show Progress button in blue color, also When an estimate is created it can fall into 2 statuses, Estimate or Pending.
If you create an estimate and save it or save and send it to the customer the estimate falls into the Estimate status. When an estimate is created you can also choose to save as pending and this will put the estimate into the Pending status.
The best approach to keep the estimates & jobs in the list view is to individually create a list for both Job view(Progress button: green color ) and Estimate view(Progress Button: Blue color)so that you can easily identify which list refers to Job and which one is for quotes.
You are not able to change the estimate status or utilize any custom statuses on an estimate. So if you save the estimate as pending it will show as pending, if you save the estimate any other way it shows the status of Estimate. The list views are showing jobs or estimates based on the due date assigned. To see only current estimates you can change the date range at the top of the list view to current dates or dates in the future.
The other way to get rid of estimates that are no longer required is to just delete any old estimate and that will remove it from all views.
