Question: Is there a way to make the banner link on the homepage to open in a new window?

Answer: Unfortunately, there is no native option in Pressero admin that could make the banner link to open up in a new window.
 
The Banner Widget does not allow you to set the target for the Slide Link.
 
However, as an alternative, you can try creating a custom page using Layout Builder and include your banner images on the custom homepage, and there you can set the target for the image link to open in the new window.
 
Reference to set the target link to open in a new window:
  • <a href="DESTINATION LINK"target="_blank"><img src="IMAGE PATH/URL"</a>
 
Once you create the custom page including your banner images, you can set that as your homepage under Admin> Site > Site Name > Settings > General > Home Page URL
 
Please note: Using the above alternative would require disabling the banner from the widgets section area.
