How do you calculate linear inches or linear feet

Question: How do you calculate linear inches or linear feet

Answer: To calculate linear inches you will use this formula: Quantity*((Height*2)+(Width*2))

Example: Quantity-10, Height 24", Width 36"  Linear inches = 10*(24*2)+(36*2) = 1200 inches

To calculate linear feet you will use this formula: Quantity*((Height*2)+(Width*2))

Example: Quantity-10, Height 2', Width 3'  Linear feet = 10*(2*2)+(3*2) = 100 feet
