When uploading a VDP file to a template, will eDoc be able to warn a user when a required field is left blank in the database file?

Question: When uploading a VDP file to a template, will eDoc be able to warn a user when a required field is left blank in the database file?

Answer:

Currently, eDocBuilder does not have data validation checks for VDP-based templates when data for a particular record is missing, even if the field is required.
It will only enforce the "required" field option for non-VDP templates. But because in a VDP file some records may have it filled in, then it "meets" the requirements that the field as been filled out at least once.
If the field references a URL for an image, and URL is invalid it will not show a warning if that URL is invalid. It will simply behave as if the value for the field is left blank for that particular record and continue to the next one.
