tFLOW Documentation - 14. Global History

Global History

Overview

tFLOW records transactions as they take place, allowing you to go back at any point and check when artwork was uploaded, when a comment was made, a job approved, order created, and many other such events. This traceability is one of the important features of tFLOW as it will allow you to verify things that have long since been forgotten. Each job and order has Activity (See section Order and Job management for information), and all of this activity is compiled in the Global History.

Global History

To access Global History, select Global History from the left menu.

All events in Global History are ordered chronologically with the most recent events appearing at the top. As new events occur, those at the top will be moved down, making way for the new events to appear at the top. Events are divided into days, and as you scroll, you will see titles like “yesterday”, followed by Dates (such as July 18, 2021). As you continue to scroll, older and older history items will appear in the window. If you need to review information older than the last couple of days, or you are looking for specific events, then you should use the Filter option instead of continuing to scroll down.

Filters

To open the filter configuration window, click on the filter button in the upper right:

You will be able to configure the information you would like to appear in global history by making choices here.  Options include:

  • Period – Start and end dates

  • Type – transaction type such as Create Order, Archive Job, Upload attachment, etc.

  • State – Job state (On hold, Awaiting approval, etc.)

  • Job name (number)

  • User (who performed the action)

Once you have defined your parameters, click Apply and the information listed in History will update accordingly.  To return to the “All items” view, open the filter window again and click reset, then close, and the filter will be removed.
