Passing Information from Pressero to tFLOW - Product Attributes

If you are passing orders from Pressero to tFLOW, you may find the need to pass some additional information to be used in the automation script.  There are two vehicles for doing so - product attributes and pricing attributes.  In both cases, you will need to refer to this list for the supported attributes:  http://support.aleyant.com/kb/a1344/tflow-variables.aspx

Product Attributes
You can pass product attributes from Pressero to tFLOW.  Unlike pricing attributes, product attributes are static and not based on any selections that a user might make during the process of placing an order.  Follow these instructions to set this up:

In Pressero:
1)   In Settings > Product Attributes create a product attribute.  Name the attribute one of the supported variables from the list found here:  http://support.aleyant.com/kb/a1344/tflow-variables.aspx
2)    In Sites > [site name] > Products > [product name] > Attributes tab, select the attribute created in step 1 and assign your desired value.

In tFLOW:
1)  If you are passing this information to the proof file, you will want to go to Settings > Products > [product name], go to the Proof tab.  Make sure that your proof automation script is using the version 9 (or later) script.  Previous versions will not work.  You can download the latest versions of our standard automation scripts from our Smart Prep Library found here:  http://support.aleyant.com/kb/c37/tflow.aspx

Example Scenario:
I would like to pass the Pressero product name into the job description on my proof.  To set this up I would take the following steps:

In Pressero:
1) In Settings > Product Attributes create a product attributes with this name:
tfall_job_description
2) In Sites > [site name] > Products > [product name] > Attributes tab, select the tfall_job_description attribute created in step 1 and assign a value of Custom Banner - 13 oz Vinyl

When an order is placed, the value I set in step 2 will appear in the Description box on my proof.
